The Camera

Visible Spectrum: The distribution of colors produced when light is dispersed by a prism.

Electromagnetic Spectrum: The range of wavelengths or frequencies over which electromagnetic radiation extends.

Image Sensor: An image sensor is a device that converts an optical image to an electric signal.

Flash Memory: Memory that retains data in the absence of a power supply.

Aperture:A space through which light passes in an optical or photographic instrument, esp. the variable opening by which light enters a camera.  

Shutter: A mechanical device of a camera that controls the duration of a photo graphic exposure
 

Exposure: is the amount of light allowed to fall on each area unit of a photographic medium during the process of taking a photograph.

Depth of Field: The distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera.

F-Stop: The F-Stop number is a ratio of the focal length of the lens to the diameter of the aperture.

Focal Length: The distance between the center of a lens or curved mirror and its focus.


 










 The blue trash can deletes photos. The button next to the red dot is to start a recording. The button that is in the lower right and corner that is the color blue is to look through your photos. The buttons in the upper right hand corner are to zoom in and out of a video and to zoom in and out of a photo that you have taken when your are cropping through it later.
